During the winter months, it may be a little wet in Oregon, but it’s a whole lot sunnier in the Southern part of the state. The Southern Oregon Coast is often referred to as the “Banana Belt.” But, even if you do visit in the winter, you’ll love the drama of the winter storms. And besides, that 70 or so annual inches of rain are very much the reason for why you’ll love our forests, rivers and streams.
