Bird watching is easy in our location. You can watch a wide variety of Northwest species. Habitats include ocean, river and forest. In addition to beachcombers, adventure seekers, and trailblazers, look who else flocks to GOLD BEACH: Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, Hutton’s Vireos, Greater White-fronted Geese, Common Mergansers, American Dippers, Wild Turkeys, Red-tailed Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, Downy Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, Winter Wren, Red-breasted Nuthatches, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Varied Thrushes, Song Sparrows, White-crowned Sparrows, Golden-crowned Sparrows, Spotted Towhees, Dark-eyed Juncos, Lesser Goldfinches, etc.
